Activity 2: Ancient religious quotes
In this activity you will consider eight quotations from ancient religious texts. Your first task is to read each quotation and decide how much you relate to it. Think about the idea being expressed and whether you consider it wise, interesting or relevant.
After rating each one, you will be told which text it is from. There are many interpretations and translations of most holy texts, so these quotations may vary slightly from other versions.
