Diversity Q & A

If you believe in your religion, does that mean everyone else is wrong?

Meg

No, I think it serves many people wonderfully to have faith and beliefs.  I am agnostic which means that I have made the choice to say I don't know; how do I really know if God exists or if he doesn't or if there is a heaven or hell?  I want to live my life for this life, on earth and be the best person I can be for now, and to me that means compassion and kindness and embracing new friendships with people from different religious and cultural backgrounds.  I would not tell my friends that their beliefs were wrong.
