Part B: What would you pack?

Many Australians today know what it feels like to leave their home to come and live in a new country.  Many do not.  Your task is to imagine that you are leaving Australia to live in another country.  In this activity you must consider what you would take with you from Australia to your new home.

You must answer each of the following questions using just a few words that best describe your response.  You can write your answers on a piece of paper or type them in the space provided.  When you have completed the questions, you may print the page to discuss with your classmates.

  1. What is a fear you would take with you?

  2. What is a hope you would take with you?

  3. What is a skill you would take with you to your new home?

  4. What is a belief that you would take with you?

  5. What is a memory of a smell that you would take with you?

  6. What is a memory of a place that you would take with you?

  7. What is a memory of a colour that you would take with you?

  8. What is a memory of a food that you would take with you?
